The 23rd Colloquium of African Geology will be hosted by the University of Johannesburg, which founded in 2005 through the merger of the former Rand Afrikaans University (incorporating the Soweto and East Rand Vista campuses) and the former Technikon Witwatersrand. Today, more than 45000 UJ students represent the rich cultural and racial diversities of South Africa, and the University offers outstanding academic programmes, assisted by mixed modes of delivery. |
The CAG23 opening ceremony will take place at Soweto Campus, one of the five campuses of the University of Johannesburg.
The scientific sessions and exhibitions will take place on the Auckland Park Kingsway Campus. This campus is equipped with a total of 66 lecture halls providing 7787 seats.
